Returns & Refunds policy
My aim is to ensure that every collector feels completely satisfied with their purchase of original artwork.
Once you make a purchase, the original artwork will be carefully packaged and shipped to you within five to seven business days. You will receive an email with a tracking number to let you know when your artwork is on its way. For insurance reasons, a signature will be needed to accept the package.
If you notice any damage to the packaging, please take a picture of it before you open it, and then open the package in front of the delivery person. If the original artwork is damaged, refuse the package and ask the carrier to return it to me.
Conditions for returns:
Within seven (7) days of receiving the artwork, you may initiate a return for reasons other than shipping damage. The return shipment must use the original packaging to guarantee it arrives to me without damage. Any artwork that is damaged during the return shipping due to inadequate packaging will not be eligible for a refund.
The customer is fully responsible for the costs associated with the return shipment, which must include the necessary insurance amount specified on the return form. Please send me an email with your order details and the reason for the return request.
After I receive the original artwork and conduct a damage assessment, you will receive an email notification updating you on the status of your return and refund.
Refunds on original art:
Upon receiving approval for your refund, it will be processed, and a credit will be issued to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days. Please note that shipping fees are non-refundable, and the costs associated with returning the item are the customer's responsibility.
I reserve the right to refuse to issue a refund/replacement item and to recover the cost of the return delivery from you if the item is found to have suffered damage after delivery.
Shipping & Receiving Prints
Upon making a purchase, prints will be carefully packaged and dispatched to you within a timeframe of seven to ten business days. A tracking number will be sent via email to notify you of the expected arrival of your print.
If you notice any damage to the packaging, please take a photograph of the damage before opening it. Subsequently, please open the package in the presence of the carrier who delivered it. Should the print itself be damaged, please refuse the package and instruct the carrier to return it to us.
If you choose to decline delivery, please contact me immediately at hello@barkenfineart.com with your photos of the damaged package.
Return Prints
As prints are produced on demand, they are not eligible for a full refund.
A refund of 50% of the purchase price may be obtained upon the completion of the return form. Please note that the return of the print will be at the customer's expense.
Refunds on Prints
Once a refund has been approved, the processing of your refund will commence, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please be aware that shipping charges are non-refundable, and the costs associated with the return shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
